Recipe to Shopping List
Send only missing recipe ingredients to your shopping list.
A recipe and meal-plan to shopping list app: choose what to cook or plan a week of meals, compare it with current stock, and add only the missing ingredients to your shopping list. Registering recipes and adding missing items are free.
1The common problem
After choosing a recipe, you still need to check what is already at home and copy only the missing ingredients into a shopping list. If you keep meal plans and lists in a spreadsheet or notes app, matching them against what you already have stays a manual step.
PantryMix connects recipes with stock so the missing list is easier to prepare.
2Compare recipes with stock
Registered recipes show how cookable they are based on current stock. When you decide to cook something, reserving ingredients records what will be used.
This makes the recipe decision visible in the stock view.
3Add only missing ingredients
From a recipe detail page, add only the missing ingredients to the shopping list. Items already in stock do not need to be bought again.
After shopping, checked items can move into stock and help the next recipe check.
4Turn a week of meals into one shopping list
Decide the dishes for the week in advance, then add the missing ingredients from each recipe into a single shopping list. It is handy when you want to turn a weekly meal plan into one grocery run.
Ingredients already in stock are not added again, so the list stays limited to what you truly need.
5Keep batch cooking as cooked stock
Running “Finish cooking” on a recipe consumes the ingredient stock. If you add it as cooked stock, the finished dish itself stays in stock.
You can see how much of a batch-cooked dish is left in the same stock view, which fits meal plans built around batch cooking.
6Best fit
This is useful for planning meals before a grocery run and for using up ingredients you already have. It is also a good switch for anyone who used to keep meal plans and lists in a spreadsheet or notes app and wants stock-linked lists that reduce duplicate buying.
It works from a single-person setup to family sharing. PantryMix is not a recipe publishing service; it is for your household recipes and stock.
